May 29 - June 1: Paint Stevensville Plein Air Event, sponsored through the Kent Island Federation of Arts (KIFA), quick draw is on Saturday and wet paint sale will take place directly following awards. Times will be forthcoming.
June 6 - July 21: Kent Island Federation of Arts Eastern Shore Nostalgia, Rustic Buildings and Structures exhibit. Reception June 6 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
June 6-9: Paint It! Ellicott City Plein Air Event: There will be receptions at both the Welcome Center for general painters and the Howard County Arts Council for juried artists. Details to follow.
June 6-21: Kent Island Federation of Arts (KIFA) Member Show, “Nostalgia” (rustic buildings and structures) … check back for more info. on reception, etc.

Honorable Mention: This piece also enticed me to step closer to seee more detail. Your understanding of warm and cool colors to push forward and recede helps exaggerate the depth. The strong diagonal composition along with linear perspective and consistet lighting help draw the viewer through the painting leaving them wondering what’s further down the road.
